Ziggy stepped out in a nice suit, though it was floral and loud as usual. Ziggy kissed Mick's cheek as he prepared to go down to the lobby.

"I'm ready." It would be nice to have a quiet night out.

"I love your suit, mate. Really suits your legs."

Mick looked up and down and knew Ziggy loved his bright colours and glittery attire. He looked fucking sexy as always and knew a few heads would turn tonight. The guitarist himself dressed in his white silken shirt and pants.

"We're meeting the lads just outside the hotel where we'll get the taxi."

The blond grinned and slid his hand into Ziggy's as they prepared to walk down.

"I got it while we were still in LA." Ziggy slid his hand into Mick's.

"We're not taking the limo?" Ziggy asked but then, maybe Robert was taking the night off. He deserved one as far as the singer was concerned.

"You did? I never noticed you going out to get it but then I'm a daft sod and miss stuff."

Mick assumed it was on one of Ziggy's shopping trips with some of the others, maybe Hunter, Aarne and Davy. Some of the femmes. It was such a beautiful piece of clothing and Mick found himself touching the fabric softly.

"Robert's got the night off. He's with Erik tonight having a break from driving. I uh--booked us a fancy posh place for tonight."

The bloke needed it in Mick's point of view.

"I think you were with Weird and a few of the others when I bought it." Ziggy liked that, though he and Mick did a lot together, they spent a healthy amount of time apart doing their own thing.

"He deserves it. I know touring can be hard." Ziggy had Robert driving so much and now there were many more people with needs for transportation. Ziggy felt warmth from knowing Mick was looking after Robert to ensure he took time for himself.

"I was? Oh yeah, I remember now. Me and Weird went off boy shopping just as you went into that fancy clothes shop. It were a girl's shop or something like that."

Mick knew he went shopping with Ziggy but missed him actually buying the suit. Ah well, at least now he could see the Anthean wearing it and showing those long legs off in it.

"The bloke deserves some time off from driving us everywhere in the limo and the huge great big buses. So, he's having a date with Erik."

It would be cute.

"We did a lot of shopping."

Ziggy sometimes couldn't keep track while they were in California. It didn't matter much.

"I think quite a few are going on dates tonight." It was a nice evening. They all had the night off, as well as tomorrow, it was cool and clear out. It felt like a perfect date night no matter what someone was doing.

"Yeah, we did. I went with Weird, Joe and Billy getting some new jeans, shirts and shoes."

Mick came back with some big paper bags filled with clothes. That, and he couldn't help but buy some more leather guitar straps and different colours picks. Hans had come along with them too now that he thought about it.

"It's nice they're doing that in a different city to LA. Chicago had the gangsters back in the 20's and 30's, didn't it? Al Capone and the violin cases."

Mick knew some of American history.

Ziggy paused with Mick in the lobby to wait for Dee and Jay. Though it was cooler than usual outside it was still hot to the Anthean.

"They did. It was a long time ago but Tommy might know about that period of Earth more than I do." Ziggy knew that Tommy was obsessive about his understanding of humans.

After a few minutes, you do see them coming off the elevator.

Dee is in his new chair, which is the main reason they're running late. It had literally been delivered and re-assembled this afternoon, leaving Dee no time at all to get a feel for how it actually worked. Which was why the couple had it on manual mode for the night. (Better that than accidentally plowing down a waiter or waitress, right?)

Along with the new chair, Dee is sporting a new red and black corset vest over his dress shirt. It's cinched up, but not too tightly. Jay donned a formal suit of his own, the jacket decorated with fancy coat tails and sophisticated embroidery.

"Hope we're not too late." Dee greeted them with a soft wave.

Mick immediately smiled when he spotted Dee and Jay coming down in the elevator and looking smart in their evening dress. The guitarist offered a wave as he came over to greet them both.

"Hello, lads. You got a new chair, eh Dee? It looks good. New wheels."

It would be a fun night and Mick was excited to be visiting such a posh establishment.

"You're not late at all."

Ziggy was glad to see that Dee was getting along with his new chair.

"It is working well for you?" Ziggy asked. He was glad to be going out with others.

"Honestly... I'm still getting used to the idea of having one like this..." he admitted, a bit sheepishly. It still felt like a very big step. Surrendering to his condition's limitations on one side, but taking back a tremendous amount of personal freedom on the other. "Damien let me borrow Choko's the other day to practice with. That helped... Made it feel a little less intimidating when I saw this for the first time... But I... still don't think I'll be taking it off manual tonight."

It would take Dee a little time to get used to the controls. And a double date with two of the biggest rock stars on the planet was probably not that time.

Dee certainly looked a lot more comfortable in it, though. Especially compared to the medical grade wheelchairs. Everything was measured to fit his body perfectly. Having the option of a manual mode was nice, and could be a lifesaver if the battery ran out of charge.

"When we get back, you should show them how the seat lifts. I don't even have to bend down to kiss you anymore." Jay smirked, bending down to kiss him anyway.

Dee happily returned the kiss.

Jay laughed, nudging Mick. "What can I say, a night out with the most perfect man in the whole world just puts you in a romantic mood. Am I right?"

Mick looked at the chair in more detail and thought it was a good idea that Dee could control it with a roller ball. It was a pretty decent chair and Jay seemed to be happy with it too.

"Does it fold so we can get it into the back of the taxi?"

The guitarist did wonder because their transport would soon be arriving in the form of a large six seater taxi. Plenty of leg room for Ziggy.

"Touring can mean change." Ziggy had originally hated the idea of security and separating himself from the fans. Getting shot and injured, more than once, changed his mind in a hurry. He relied on it to make things safe as much as Dee may from the mobility to move away on his own.

Ziggy grinned playfully and winked at the others. "You didn't tell me you were taking Mick out for the night." Sure, he was teasing Jay about his turn of phrase and the nudging. He couldn't help letting the sassy and playful side of his personality free now that he was more familiar with the other musicians.

Jay stuttered in surprise, but was quickly drowned out by Dee loudly insisting, "Competition?! Well, I certainly won't stand for that!"

Clearly, Dee was feeling far more comfortable around the tour headliners than when they first started out too.

Jay snickered, and then just smiled. That was the man he loved right there, living his best life.

"But yes..." Dee answered Mick's question. "It does fold. And automatically goes right up a ramp too."

They hadn't technically tried it yet. The bus had a lift, not a ramp. But Jay was pretty sure he remembered how it was supposed to work.

Mick thought it was fun that Ziggy was teasing a little, knowing the boys would soon catch on. Just being able to relax and have a quiet night off in a nice restaurant would be good for everyone. No screaming Danes, Swedes or other drunken things going on.

"Up a ramp, eh? That's decent, mate. Looks like our ride is here too."

No sooner had Mick spoke than the taxi rolled up in front of everyone; the driver getting out so he could open the large sliding doors and the trunk so Dee could stash his chair in the back.

"You can't win and Jay can't have him." Ziggy grinned at Dee before turning to the arriving Taxi.

While the others stored the chair Ziggy slid into the back of the taxi. He's eager to go to dinner but not always for taxi rides. Thankfully, both He and Dee were thin so it wouldn't be as cramped.

Dee wouldn't attempt to fight Ziggy for the last word. He was preoccupied with getting out of the chair and helping Jay get it ready to stow in the back. It was new to both of them, and actually took both of them to remember how to do it. Unfortunately, there wasn't a ramp.

"Go ahead and get in." He kissed Dee's cheek. "Mick, can you give me a hand?"

The old wheelchair only weighed about 35 pounds. This was abut ten times as heavy, which was more than Jay could lift by himself. He gestured to the folded chair and where they needed to lift it.

Dee, meanwhile, made his way onto the nearest seat.

"He's right there, mate. You can't have me."

Mick grinned and winked at Jay, knowing Ziggy was only being playful, as he then looked over the heavy wheelchair. It shouldn't be a problem with Mick having handled heavy stage set equipment in the past.

"No problem. Here we go."

The Brit helped Jay lift the chair into the back with relative ease, considering the guitarist's height. Mick was stronger than he looked.

"Got a good show there, eh lads?"

Mick gesturing to Ziggy and Dee who were now sat inside the taxi.

Ziggy helped Dee, if needed, into the car then got in himself. He knew he was probably less help with the lifting than even Dee was. He did smile when he saw Mick showing off. It was something that he had done, accidentally and then later purposefully.

"On and off the stage." Ziggy scooted over so Mick and Jay could join them, realistically, he was probably going to have to sit in Mick's lap.

Jay seemed a bit less playful when he climbed in, settling next to Dee.

Fortunately, even if they were a bit squished or half in their fiancés' laps, the ride to the restaurant was about fifteen minutes at most. When it came time to unload the chair, if Mick wanted to take the lead, Jay let him. Unfolding the chair and powering it up was easy by comparison. And as Dee wasn't quite confident enough to steer in a crowded fancy restaurant, Jay took over guiding it. Despite the weight of the chair, manual mode made it still seem light somehow. Those World Enterprises engineers were geniuses...

"...do we have a reservation?" Dee asked as they brought up the rear of the party.

Mick was ready for Ziggy to slide into his lap as was per usual when they travelled in the limo with a car full of rock stars. He couldn't help but slip a soft kiss to the Anthean's lips as he held Ziggy close. The ride wasn't long and soon Mick was out helping get Dee's chair out from the back of the taxi.

"It's pretty easy to pack up and pull up again, isn't it?"

Mick now focusing on Jay who was now guiding the chair into the busy restaurant. It was certainly posh and exclusive judging by how many waiters there were pulling out seats for the guests.

"Yeah, I booked over the phone over an hour ago. They've got our table booked in my name."

Ziggy had gotten used to piling into cars from all the time the others dragged so many out at once.

"After I reminded you." Ziggy teased but it was playful. He took Mick's hand, happy to be going out to dinner with another couple. This is something they had only done a couple times before.

From the chandelier in the center to the eccentric floral arrangements, this looked like the perfect place. It was posh, yet edgy at the same time.

"We've definitely been looking forward to it." Jay smiled. "I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before."

"Well, we did have quite a lot going on..." Dee laughed cheerfully.

Everything had pretty much been non-stop since they filled out Kuro. They hadn't really even had a date night just to themselves in a while! Something that definitely needed to change.
