Merry Rockin' Christmas!

Mick and the Spiders, Billy, Joe, Erik and some of the other tour members had been busy decorating out the communal area in the apartments transforming it into a festive space. A Christmas Party! There were decorations, baubles hanging from a make-shift tree that Erik had bought from a local garden centre. It looked really Christmassy and fun. Weird and Gilly had been putting up more decorations, including hand-drawn snowmen and other Christmas characters drawn by none other than Erik himself.

"Fuck yeah! It looks great! Wait until everyone else sees what we've done."

Joe jumping around the tree and swigging his bottle of Jack Daniels, happy to show Aarne once he sees him. Billy was just pinning up pieces of mistletoe around every high place so he could get a kiss on Rik once he saw him. No doubt everyone would be using the mistletoe as an excuse just to kiss their partners. Why not? It was fun.

"Ok, lads. We've got the food and drink table set up with loads of stuff on it."

Mick now adding a load of glasses, mugs, tankards to the table so people had enough to take. The food had been bought and some made by Elsie, Mick's mother, which included some nice little Christmas-themed cup cakes. Those looked so good! The Danes would surely devour them first.

"How about some streamers above the door?"

Erik now touting some streamers around the doorways when people walked in. Joe laughed and put some onto the Swede's head, which caused the guitarist to shove Joe away playfully. Mick nodded in agreement and wanted this to be a special time for everyone to let their hair down. It was for new tour members and those who had been travelling since the start, family members invited along with friends too. There was also a free table with some presents already wrapped for certain band members. Of course those would be given by their respective partners.

"Looks good, mate. Ok, lets message everyone to come in and have some fun."

Mick pulled his phone out and sent a tour-wide group message to everyone to get their asses into the communal area and have a party. Joe screamed and began filling up glasses full of booze already to get the evening started.

Merry Christmas from Minoru

Minoru arrived at the apartment with a mountain of gifts. Among them were:

For Aarne, a taiyaki mold for baking.

For his parkour buddies, like Fredrik and Joe, and his coach Damien, he got new parkour shoes. (Joe, you really do need those. Stop trying this in heels.)

For Mick, he got a neat Guitar pick maker that would probably get passed around to everyone. And a shirt that said "Lord of the Strings" (a pun on a movie that existed in Minoru's world... but may not have been made yet in Ziggy's... oops.)

For Tom and Aletayria, a set of his/her plant propagation vases. To be fair, this one was Isamu's idea.

For Erik, a new lens kit for his camera, in a cactus-shaped lens case. For Vars, some good physical therapy gear since Minoru noticed his was starting to wear out. For Ollie, a new set of tools for his cars. And of course, a massive care package for Damien, Jack or whoever showed up from Hunger City to take back home.

There was also a bunch of boxes of wagashi (Japanese confections) to share with the group as a whole. Because no matter how long he spent shopping, there was going to be someone new around. Every time he visited, it was like another band had joined the entourage.

But most of all, Minoru had an envelope somewhere in that massive stack with something special for Ziggy. Even before he won American Ninja Warrior, he'd been planning a special getaway in his world for his boyfriend. But now, he could do something really nice - like a night watching the Northern Lights in a glass igloo

Mick and Erik;

Mick and Erik were already pulling out more bottles of booze because Joe had already drank one lot of whiskey already. Trust him! The table was well stocked as Mick turned around to see Minoru arriving with a mountain of presents for people. Woah, that was a lot! Erik beamed and came over to Minoru, opening his present slowly and gasping at what was inside.

"Oh, a cactus lens case! I love it."

He unzipped the top and inside was a new lens. Wow. Those were not cheap at all. Erik went to hug Minoru as Mick picked out his present labelled with his name on. He opened it up and inside was some sort of hole punch---no---pick maker. A guitar pick maker! Perfect.

"Thanks for this, mate. I can make decent picks using this. There's also no power cable needed so no plug-in blow ups for me."

"The guy at the shop said it's a good lens for taking pictures of faraway things. Like people in really tall trees." he laughed, showing Erik yet another angel pic turned Christmas card on his PINpoint.

He hugged Erik, and then grinned as he watched Mick open his.

"Thought that might be fun."

It might also be a new merch idea for the bands.

Joe and Fredrik

Joe was so happy at receiving a present from Minoru, opening it like a young child on Christmas morning, screeching when he pulled the pair of parkour shoes from the remains of the packaging. He loved them!

"Thanks, babe! These are so fucking cool! Let me put them on now."

The crazy bassist now fumbling with his knee length boots, pulling them off and then lacing the new shoes up to his feet. Oh, they felt really comfy and soft! Perfect for running up skyscrapers and gripping onto window ledges.

"Maybe now I can run up skyscrapers with you without nearly killing myself."

Joe hugged Minoru and ruffled the boy's hair as he noticed Fredrik too got a pair of parkour running shoes too. Fucking cool! Fredrik himself now coming up to Minoru, smiling and admiring how cool they looked.

"Thanks for buying me these. At least now I can climb drain pipes a little better and uh---not banging my head on metal poles while trying to slide down them sideways."

That part had Mikkel worried and Fredrik didn't want to seek out a free concussion. Of course Fredrik had gotten Minoru a little something too.

Aarne had been giving out gifts and eating. It took awhile before he saw Minoru. He has two items. One is a mixed bag of gifts for Isamu and Minoru's parents; various Scandinavian sweet treats.. cakes, the sour lemon drops Vars loved, chocolates, jams, and so forth. As well as a few amulets and a set of hand carved wooden cooking tools. The tools all were a little different since they were all carved by different people.

For Isamu and Minoru, he had a huge tapestry blanket that he had been working on for weeks now. It was big enough that they could both cozy up under it, or either of them with their partners. Finnsheeps wool was medium weight but still soft and easy on the skin.

"MINORU!" Aarne managed to hug Minoru while still holding on to the bag and the big parcel.

Dee and Jay

Dee and Jay were fairly new to the entourage. They also didn't really have much time to shop.

Kuro were working tirelessly on getting enough songs down for their first practice run, which would be happening at Jerry's leading up to the New Year's weekend. The stage set was a work in progress, as were the costumes, but hopefully it would be enough to set the scene. Ziggy would be at some of their first few shows, and if he thought those went well, this could put them on the tour.

But they weren't about to come empty handed.

Dee couldn't even see over the boxes he was holding in his lap. Inside were jars of apricot jam, specially made from fruit grown in Jay's family's orchard. Tied lovingly around each one was a ribbon with a thoughtful handwritten note from the two of them. Dee was a Prophet when it came to words, after all.

For their fellow members of Kuro, they'd all be getting the first round print of t-shirts featuring the band's brand new logo. (Which, thank god, got back just in time.)

Johan and Rex;

Johan hadn't expected to walk into a winter wonderland, which was now the communal lounge inside the apartment building. It looked festive and the Swede noticed Rex coming in carrying a present from both him and Johan for Dee and Jay. Of course, now both men were part of Kuro and this meant gifts for the boys that hired them in the first place.

"Hej, Dee, Jay!"

Johan waved then came up to pat Dee on the shoulder and clap Jay on the back. Rex was grabbing a drink of booze then coming up next to Johan still clutching a small wrapped up box.

"Here. We got you something both. From me and Johan."

Rex winked to Johan before passing Dee and Jay their gift which were some cool bone dice.

Harald;

Harald is now walking up to Dee and Jay all 6'4" of heavy set Viking dressed in a thick elk fur trimmed cloak, leather pants, belt and jacket with steel-spiked thick black leather boots. He had his throwing axes strapped to his back attached using leather straps around his shoulders.

"Dee and Jay? New band people? Want meet."

The man's speech broken up because his thick Norwegian accent was stronger than his basic grasp of English. Much like Vars, Harald hadn't managed to learn English as fast as some of the other Scandinavians.

"Harald. Nice to meet."

To most, first meeting with Harald could often be intimidating.

Jake, Lex, Jan, and Davy

The Harper/Sutton family never had this many people to celebrate with. The family was small, even more so now that Davy's father's family were out of the picture.

Jake alone had a huge dufflebag of things. While the other three had a couple boxes. Davy and Jan had made a bunch of fudge and chocolate covered fruits. Most of which Lex was weighed down with since Davy was helping his mother.

Jake's first mission was to find Niko but if he ran into any others along the way they would be welcome too.

Joakim and Gunnar;

Joakim had managed to yank his brother out of the gym and into the party because the man spent his whole life underneath a stack of weights. Joakim wasn't putting up with any of Gunnar's bullshit as he walked in seeing Jan and then Lex, Jake and Davy. The whole family were here which caused Joakim to smile. Gunnar loved seeing the decorations around the place and spotted the fudge and chocolate covered fruits on the table. They looked good.

"Hej, everyone. It's good to see you again, Jan."

The drummer smiled and gave her a soft hug, noticing Gunnar's eyes almost drifting towards where Lex was standing. The boy was like a lost puppy who had to be with the mechanic. At least now he'd gotten some knowledge about big rigs and how to look after them from Lex.

"God Jul."

Gunnar now offering words of the time of year to Lex and everyone else.

To Jan, From Dee.

Dee saw his voice coach and, after picking up her jam from the box, made his way over to sit beside her. (He was really starting to like parties in the communal area. There were so many places to sit.)

"Merry Christmas." he gave a friendly smile. The note said as much, but Dee couldn't help but repeat it. "I can't... thank you enough for your help over the years. Teaching me how to keep my voice when everything else... well... I'm actually fronting a band now! I couldn't have gotten this far without you."

Niko;

Niko was so excited to actually be at a Christmas party here on tour with the Ziggy Stardust tour members. That, and he was now dating Jake and loving being with his vampire 24/7. The young man walked in but was still on a walking cane, due to his ankle being fractured a week or so ago now. The cast still attached to his foot helping it heal. It wasn't stopping him from coming to a party though. Fuck no!

"Jake!"

The Finn beamed and walked along, cane in one arm while he carried a present in the other. It was a small sized box and was wrapped up in crimson red paper. Vampire colours.

"I hope you like it. Iloista joulua!"

Niko using his native tongue to wish Jake well as he passed over the box containing a cute vampire amulet.

Sven;

Sven was dressed up in his usual attire because he loved to show off and knew Davy fell for it. This was a Christmas party so the Swede would have fun, get drunk and spend time with his tarty, princess boy. He soon saw Jake and Lex offering them a smile, clapping them both on the shoulders. Jan, he blew a soft kiss.

"Hej, boys. What's happening? Where is my tarty princess?"

Of course, Sven had been out buying presents for his boyfriend, spoiling him as he should. He'd gone out and bought some pyjama pants for the bedroom. Of course he had.

Johan and Rex;

Johan and Rex now coming over to wish Jake a merry Christmas and to thank him for designing all the costumes and props for Kuro. The whole bone theme had gone down really well with everyone and Johan loved his tiger teeth necklace, while Rex adored his bone crown.

"God Jul, Jake!"

The Swede walking up holding two mugs of mead, passing one to Jake if he wanted to share a drink. Rex now giggling a little because he'd had too much already.

Svein brothers, Vidar, Korppi, Vars, Aarne, and the Danes

Tom had given up asking about the goats, especially at this time of the year and had bought a firepit for the roof. It was better to direct the chaos because gods knew it couldn't be controlled. With even more Nordic practitioners the tide was not going to be turned aside.

This meant cases of Mead and Akvavit. Spotted goats on the roof, and the ever present Danish strawberry cakes. Now there were ravens in the mix and axe/spear throwing in one of the halls. The altar in the common room covered in Holly, statues and small offerings was new but Tom was glad to see it appear, even if it appeared without his notice sometime in the middle of the night.

Now there was a lot of mead flowing and competitions happening. The group rowdy but also looking for others to give them presents.

Harald

"God jul."

Harald was now walking in dressed in a thick fur coat made out of reindeer fur and was sporting leather pants, heavy black boots and a thick black belt with an axe buckle. This was Jul so it was time for dressing up a little smarter to please the gods. The Viking's eyes spotting the axe and spear throwing, intending to join in later on after a few mugs of mead.

"Trygg?"

The Norwegian came up and slid his arms around the dark-haired elfin man, kissing him on the cheek and showing his affections. Everyone knew now and he wanted to show that this man was his and he was Trygg's.

"Let us drink some mead."

To Vidar and Trygg, from Jay

Jay ran Vidar and Trygg while he was sampling one of those ever-present Danish strawberry cakes.

"Oh! I wanted to thank you for Dee's early Christmas gift." he smirked.

Jay knew his fiance had been looking for a vest to do some test merch prints on, but the corset was much, much better. Damn, it was all he could do to string the thinner man up before he started taking other things off.

"I know it came from you, but Dee said Trygg bought it, so I have to know. If I wanted to maybe pick up a couple more in different sizes and colors, where do I go?"

Bjorn and Hans;

Bjorn came into the party screaming as per usual with Hans trailing behind, shaking his head as always at his loud, crazy brother. Bjorn was hyped up because he loved parties and it was Christmas, which made it all the better.

"Where is my ginger bastard? I've got a present for him."

It was a large flat parcel wrapped up in guitar-themed wrapping paper. Hans knew what it was and so did Erik, who had quite a bit of involvement in the creation of it. Hans now helping himself to a non-alcoholic drink while Bjorn wanted to find Rekker.

"Fuck yeah, PARTY!"

Rekker was sitting with Vars and in an intense bout of arm wrestling challenges. The Danes and some of the others watching and some even betting on the contests. At the moment, it was Rekker and Torden arm wrestling. The Brit impressed that the much smaller Dane could hold his own against the bigger ginger. He had a gift for Bjorn and knew the blonde would find him as soon as he arrived.

Einar and Torvald;

Einar had arrived dressed in a rather ornate fur cloak down to his ankles and wore yellow and black striped knee-length leather boots with a black sheer shirt which was almost see-through. Torvald dressed in his usual t-shirt, jeans and sneakers because he liked to jump about and get drunk.

"Party time!"

Torvald instantly went to the drinks table to fill up a big mug with booze, passing Einar a large glass of red wine. Einar rolled his eyes slightly but knew his drummer loved to have fun just like everyone else.

"No doubt our guitarist is with his vampire somewhere."

Einar sipping his wine and wanting to meet some of the other musicians and tour members.

Syn managed to slip away from Davy and headed to the bar to get a drink. He's festively wearing gold and red. Pouring a drink he smiled at those black and yellow boots.

"Those are nice boots."

Joe had a small box resting in his right palm as he screamed out Peachy hoping it would attract the tall Finn's attention because he had something very special to give him. Oh yes, something precious indeed.

"Peachy?"

The Brit was still a little nervous inside because he wanted to do this. He wanted to propose to Aarne at the Christmas party now that his mother had approved Joe for her son. This would be so fucking cute.

Aarne had a gift for Joe too but hadn't had time to give it to him yet. He heard the Brit call his name and ran off, jumping on his back and hugging him tightly. Aarne had been drinking and making food earlier.

Edvard, bassist for The Bandits;

The bassist was trashed and confused as to where he was because he'd walked into a party of some sort. Was this even the right building? Fuck knew. Niko told him this address so now the drunk blond was wide-eyed, laughing as someone threw a drink over someone's head in a prank. This was his kind of party!

"I don't know where the fuck I am but this looks like a party!"

Edvard put his bags down by the nearest table and headed up to the bar for more drinks because he'd already had his fill at a Strip bar and now wanted more. The night was young and this place was filled with rock stars.

Joey had gone out to get some things to cook for the party. He stopped when he saw the blonde.

"Most of the party is upstairs." Joey mentioned while shifted the grocery bags he was carrying.
